This was an amazing internship for me to have. I got two recommendation letters out of it, as well as a contact at ESPN Headquarters in Bristol, CT. The production interns do a ton of important work for the station, including preparing commercials and audio clips for the show. I was made fun of plenty on air, but it was all in good fun. The people are great to work with. I also did some PR work for the station, which was great as well. I helped set up and played in a wiffle ball tournament in my second week there, and handed out signs, pens, cups, and t-shirts before a bunch of Red Sox games. This internship is good for anybody looking to work in the Boston sports market, and get a worthwhile internship while making connections.
