My internship at Fort Franklin has been great real world experience. I've sat in on brainstorming sessions, focus groups and new business discussions. I record notes from focus groups, research information for clients, and try to get involved in any way possible.

The environment and people at Fort Franklin are what define the agency; they are one big family. They're a welcoming and friendly bunch, always including the interns at every opportunity. One girl would bake cupcakes for birthdays and always made enough for the interns; I'm not going to lie, they were they were pretty delicious cupcakes!

In any case, there is always the normal intern responsibilities like answering phones and making coffee. However, these people are awesome and it's definitely worth it. Remember, it's what you make of it so be proactive!
