Working at HOPE was an amazing opportunity. The well-established and structured internship program really made it worthwhile. With such a warmenvironment that really encouraged self-initiative and valued every intern's input, it was really easy to feel like you were a significant part of the organization.
On top of that, it's sweet to know that your work is making an impact on people all around the world and is truly furthering the kingdom of God.
Also, it's useful for networking within the microfinance field, as well as getting close to the other interns. For the four of us not from area, we commuted together and became good friends.
Lancaster is a friendly area, and HOPE was also really helpful with getting a job on the weekends.
