Mullen's internship program is wonderful. It brought together 15 interns from at least a dozen different colleges who were assigned to various departments within the agency. Although we all had our individual supervisors, the atmosphere at Mullen was very open and comfortable. I approached people in other departments for both work related, and personal interest related reasons and was always met with a willingness to help me in any way possible.

In addition to our daily tasks within our departments, we had Brown Bag Lunches every Wednesday. The lunches (catered by Panera) featured a different department every week.

At the end of our eight weeks at Mullen, the interns were separated into three teams and designed a new business pitch for Olympus, one of Mullen's PR clients. The presentations were judged by the CEO, CCO, and New Business Director. The fact that such high profile people invested time in the internship program speaks to the culture at Mullen.

I cannot say enough about my Mullen experience. It provided me with so many opportunities to network, learn the industry, and meet some wonderful people. Ice cream/pizza parties, intern kickball, and the Mullen Cafe were additional perks to a great summer.
