I worked here while doing my intel science research project on multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injuries. I was in highschool when i did this internship, so i was really just glad to have the opportunity to be working with a professor and professional researcher at NYU. There were many great things about this internship, i had the opportunity to do hands on research, and observe really complicated procedures which were extremely helpful for my project. However, once i started working it turned out that i was mostly washing slides and doing the busy work which they didn't have the time to do.
