I cannot believe how negative so many of these ratings were! Honestly, I have had many internships and I can tell you that they are only what you make of them. If you put in the time, effort, enthusiasm and dedication you are going to have a great learning experience that will open many doors for you. If you don't then you will get nothing out of the experience...that is what probably happened with all of these bitter interns.

If you are looking for a real public relations experience you will find it here. Sure there are administrative tasks that you will be asked to do, but you will find that in any internship you take on. Marlo and her staff are all amazing mentors who will teach you much more than you could even hope to learn. I am still using all that I learned today, and I am still benefiting from all the connections that I made while working as an mmc intern. I am sure this will be the case for many years to come. If you invest yourself in this position and this company you will have the kind of experience that prepares you for any PR job you find yourself in after college.
