The only downside to the internship was that it was not paid. However, it was an awesome experience. Within my department I got a lot of hands on experience. Even though there was some busy/typical intern work, I got to do a lot of really cool things. The department I worked with does a lot of traveling and invited me on multiple occassions to go along on the trips. Besides getting to go to on work trips to awesome cities like NYC and Boston , the people I worked with were so welcoming and friendly, which made it even better. They're were excited to have an intern, not annoyed like some people, and devoted a lot of time and energy to make sure I got everything out of the internship I wanted and needed.
