It was an amazing experience. It was a new internship program when I started and the program was wonderful, so I cannot wait to watch it grow and expand. I shadowed each different department from assignment desk to the director for the first month and then picked my area of preference to learn and work in for the remainder. I worked with the reporters and actually got to go on location with them and the photogs and see everything first hand.
I got more out of this than any class.
