I strongly believe that working for ECPR gave me the first-hand experience I needed to succeed in the public relations industry. The staff truly cared about giving the interns real work instead of "grunt work". Because of the projects I worked on, I was able to hone in on my writing and pitching skills, as well as get a good feel for local media.

I would encourage any young communications major to look strongly at ECPR for a hands on internship that will leave them with real-world experience.
