At ECPR, we interns do a lot of grunt work like skimming newspapers, clipping media mentions, posting to calendars, making phone calls, etc. What internship or job doesn't require that? What makes ECPR such a great place to intern at is the willingness of the staff to bring you, the intern, to events and get to know you and your goals. The staff is also willing to give you writing assignments and other real-life tasks. After my internship here, I expect my portfolio to be full of incentives for a future employer to hire me. :)
