I had the opportunity to design and create invitations in-house for Summer Associate events. There was a lot of flexibility and creativity involved in producing the invitations and it was a lot of fun to work on. Besides working on events, I also created Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, made copies, and filed paperwork. Overall, it was a great real-world experience.

I had a wonderful experience while at Cone, and had the opportunity to really develop my PR skills. However, I found the internship program to be very disorganized, and I think the majority of the interns felt like nothing more than interns. Responsibilities included a lot of grunt work, and many mentors did not make an effort to challenge us with new and exciting assignments.
I also was personally extremely disappointed in some of Cone's leadership decisions as they were unprofessional and unethical. Overall, I greatly enjoyed the work experience, but the corporate environment was unwelcoming.
