I came in the internship with an extremely positive goal to learn and explore yet I got exactly the opposite. Everyone didn't have any time for me and I came to work everyday with the anticipation that I will get nothing to do and be extremely bored. I tried communicating and being active, but no one encouraged a learning environment nor did they keep in contact or offer any letter of recommendation. The day I left was simply a walk out the door.

I actually interned twice hoping different departments meant meeting different people and that they would treat their internship programs different. I was wrong. What internship program? I came to learn later, they are hiring interns just to write of taxes, they have absolutely no interest in helping you grow or concerns about you in their best interest. There is a lack of anything to do even for employees and those who do have work will certainly not give them to you. They treat you very much like you won't be here for long so what's the point ...
