YES, it was an editorial internship, meaning lots of fact-checking. Calling sources featured in articles, verifying information. Day in, day out. But I was told I could also write brief articles to be published in the magazine. Didn't happen.
Instead, when there wasn't fact-checking to do, I was to look up archived articles, (given 10-year time frame, meaning I looked through 80+ old magazines) or even better, address envelopes and stamp them.
