Definitely avoid-although you'll get to work with Anne herself, but there is certainly little enjoyment in that. She treats everyone around her like her personal slaves and definitely uses interns as slave labor. She didn't offer anyone a paid internship and expected interns to work long hours and cater to her every whim. Interns were quitting every 1-2 weeks-and she even had the audacity to say that "people used to be loyal to me" (implying that unpaid interns quitting aren't being loyal to her). As design assistant, I had the honor of working very closely with Anne herself. On a day to day basis, I was expected to cater to her every whim (which included dropping everything at any time to do what she deemed as more important), clean up her dog's droppings from the carpet, and change light bulbs, all while single-handedly managing any and all production and making sure deadlines were met and dresses were beaded.

Sure, the $7 lunch stipend was nice, but as the unofficial production manager, I made far less than what an actual production manager would make. ...
