This internship was exactly what I was looking for going into my senior year of college! The position allowed for me to expand my marketing knowledge and apply it to real world experiences. Going into this internship I had specific skills that I wanted to sharpen, so Skydive New England focused on those skills and found ways for me to implement them in my everyday tasks. This is a high paced internship that will allow you to network and gain confidence in social settings. Your internship at Skydive New England is constructed in a way to improve the individual ...

Being a field rep for Skydive New England is a great opportunity for any driven college student looking for a fun summer internship! At orientation, you are required to go on a tandem skydive in order to know exactly what you are marketing to people. Half of the weekly workload requires you to book promotions, set up "Enter to Win" boxes, engage in some social media marketing, and possibly even get involved in some sales negotiations with actual reps for other companies. The other half is going to the bars and venues that you booked with. The marketing skills and ...

If you like talking to people this is the job for you. Going to bars, restaurants, and concerts to promote an AWESOME business made for an excellent summer. A main focus of this internship is booking promotional events, which takes up a decent amount of time. The other portion of the internship is actually going to these events. Part of orientation is that you go skydiving, to get familiar with the product, which is awesome!!! The only downside is that it is not paid and you have to use your own gas. Living in areas that are near bars and ...

Looking for internships can be hard. I didn't want the typical get your boss coffee or do his/her dry cleaning. This internship couldn't be any different! From start to finish I liked what I was doing and understood it was actually beneficial to me. I made the social media pages for several companies. Networking is huge, and the people are awesome. Truly awesome! And the products they sell are not vacuum cleaners or cookies. They are skydives and white water rafting trips. Getting excited about these is easy, especially after doing them! I am now fully confident that I will ...

This internship is an awesome opportunity to gain real world marketing experience, and have the time of your life doing it. Interns are responsible for planning and hosting promotional events in their region, social media campaigns, and guerrilla canvasing. Getting people excited to Skydive and Raft is easy and fun. In return, you will get to experience the thrills for yourself. The only downsides are that most of the events are on weekends, and there is no gas compensation. Regardless, I feel it was worth my time and energy to learn from a great marketing ...
