I had a wonderful internship experience at ECPR. Everyone in the office is very upbeat and helpful. My tasks ranged from creating media lists, writing press releases to attending press conferences. Interning at ECPR was very beneficial and I strongly recommend it.

I strongly believe that working for ECPR gave me the first-hand experience I needed to succeed in the public relations industry. The staff truly cared about giving the interns real work instead of "grunt work". Because of the projects I worked on, I was able to hone in on my writing and pitching skills, as well as get a good feel for local media. I would encourage any young communications major to look strongly at ECPR for a hands on internship that will leave them with real-world experience.
I got to go with a team to a special celebrity event. It was very exciting to see a real-world situation. I have also been to a news taping, a press conference, and tours with the media. Everyone has been welcoming an always made sure I knew of any upcoming intern opportunties. I have written releaes, put together media lists, worked on calendar listings, ran errands and participated in many activities I would not otherwise had the chance to do. ECPR is a professional setting where you really learn what the PR world is like.

What makes ECPR such a great place to intern at is the willingness of the staff to bring you, the intern, to events and get to know you and your goals. The staff is also willing to give you writing assignments and other real-life tasks. After my internship here, I expect my portfolio to be full of incentives for a future employer to hire me. ...
I can't say enough good things about my internship at Elizabeth Christian & Associaties Public Relations! Since I started my internship just over a month ago every team member has gone out of their way to make me feel competely comfortable in my new role. I have been allowed to particapate in writing press releases, creating media lists, completing calendar listings, finding and clipping client articles, brainstorming new ideas, and I have even been allowed to attend both print and TV interviews with our clients. All this in a little over a month! My faviorte aspect ...
