I am very glad that WZLX was my first internship. Karlson & McKenzie in the Morning was a great start to my career. It is very low pressure, but what you do as an intern actually matters. I edited clips of the show to put on the website, helped find sound bytes to put on the show, accomodated guests to the show (such as ESPN Baseball Analyst Peter Gammons), and even appeared on the show multiple times, including once for almost five minutes.
