This was my best experience so far in the pharmacy world. I've have the opportunity to review most of my therapeutics lectures under the disease state management topics while learning the practical aspects of pharmacy in a great and welcoming environment. My preceptor has been my hero, he pushed me so hard to learn and really know the drugs. We talked about a different class of drugs each day we met and it was fun. The compensation is also very fair to me.

I just finished my 1st year in pharmacy school and entered into an 8 week structured internship through SuperValu Pharmacies. I was actually working in a Sav-On pharmacy located inside of an Albertsons grocery store. I had a fantastic experience working together with the technicians and pharmacists, who were patient and helpful the entire time I was working. I completed a number of weekly assignments which further educated me on specific drug classes, disease states, and counseling points. Later in the internship I was able to give a few presentations and organize a health fair along with some of the ...

This internship was wonderful. I have had retail pharmacy experience in the past, and I got more experience through this internship, but I also got much more. I was able to add onto my first year pharmacy school knowledge, and explore drug topics and disease states we have not covered yet. To me, this is invaluable knowledge gained, and I can only believe it will help me when I return for second year this fall.
