I thought I would leave this internship with a great portfolio (like promised, since the interns are practically the only editorial contributors) but I ended up quitting early. No college credit, no letters of recommendation, no pay. The only real world skill I learned was to GET OUT when you are working for a terrible company.

When I landed this internship I thought it was a dream come true. I thought that I would have a chance to work with real professionals and get experience in the field I love. I was so miserable staying to work with no pay until all hours of the night, and being treated as if I was worth less than a piece of dog **** on the bottom of a shoe I quit early with no portfolio, no letter of recommendation, no real experience to show and a hole in my wallet from them not reimbursing me for ...
