I really enjoyed my experience at J. McLaughlin. I interviewed for PR, so I was originally annoyed that I did very little constructive PR work (organizing press kits vs. writing press releases or even updating the Twitter account). But the PR employee came in a few days a week so there just wasn't enough PR work for me, so I learned a lot of worthwhile merchandising skills.
My duties included creating and updating merchandise boards used for presentations, writing up distribution orders, updating Excel spreads, putting together press kits, etc.
