Being the media relations intern at the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) was great! This was my first internship and it worked out perfect. I got to work very closely with my mentor and boss, Heather Huhman, who went out of her way to make my internship very rewarding and valuable. She made sure that I was involved in everything that she was and gave me extra responsibilities and projects to add to my professional portfolio.
