Conventures is an extremely high stress environment. The staff generally work 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., with events on nights and weekends. I will say that the recommendation I will receive upon leaving Conventures will be a good one, but it's a lot of hours for an unpaid internship. At Conventures you need to be very proactive or you'll be stuck with "intern work" (ie, making copies, getting coffee, etc). Once the interns and the staff get to know one another, Conventures can be a lot of fun, but it takes time, patience, a strong will, and a LOT of ...
