My supervisor definitely tried to assign work to me that was relevant to my interest and experience in level design, which was nice. Sometimes you need to go out of your way to ask for projects to do, but everyone is really friendly and don't mind helping you get situated into meaningful work.

Everyone in the office is really friendly and welcoming. I was given tasks relevant to the position as opposed to busy administrative work. Definitely a good place to gain experience.

I had an amazing intern experience at the Nickelodeon VWG. The internship provided a fun-filled environment that allowed me to apply skills that I learned in school, while enhancing my ability to perform certain tasks. Everyone was extremely helpful and willing to take time to answer any questions. The internship is definitely what you make of it; as I was able to moderate usability tests, conduct interviews with prospective interns, and sit in on meetings. I would highly recommend this internship to anyone that is willing to apply their skills and open to learning new aspects of the business.

This internship was my first choice for a summer internship and it lived up to all of my expectations. As an intern, I was brought into all marketing team meetings and I was given projects in which I came up with sponsorship ideas for actual clients, some of which were used. I also worked personally the head of marketing at NVWG on an ad project in which some of my ideas are being implemented on Neopets.com.
