This was a great internship. It was the first one I had ever done, and I was thrown right in to real reporting, which was intimidating at first, but made me learn quick. I published more then one article a week while I was with the Chronicle, including two full-page stories. I covered a variety of topics, and the editor really let me cover what I wanted. In general, I felt that I had a lot of freedom with the internship.
