Fantastic experience! HOPE is a wonderful place to be exposed to Christian micro-enterprise development work. The staff both in the US and in other countries are wonderful to work with.

This company provided key experience in microfinance, an area I was very interested in. I did do some administrative work, as does everyone who works there, but I also learned a lot about the specific programs HOPE has and felt like my contribution to the organization was real and important. I would recommend this internship to anyone.

Working at HOPE was an amazing opportunity. The well-established and structured internship program really made it worthwhile. With such a warmenvironment that really encouraged self-initiative and valued every intern's input, it was really easy to feel like you were a significant part of the organization.
On top of that, it's sweet to know that your work is making an impact on people all around the world and is truly furthering the kingdom of God.
Also, it's useful for networking within the microfinance field, as well as getting close to the other interns. For the four of us not from area, ...

I really enjoyed interning at HOPE because the company treats its interns as part of the company and let us in on all of the things they were doing. I was able to get real-world experience and work in a fast-paced environment and with wonderful people. Another great aspect of the internship was the meaningfulness of the work I did. I was constantly reminded that I was working to benefit the poor around the world and all the employees are passionate about this mission. Additionally, microfinance is a very exciting field to be in and an internship at HOPE is ...

I loved working in a non-profit office, espcially one with such a far reaching impact. Learning more in depth about microfinance pushed me in my thinking about global issues and how I am to be a part of a global network of support and encouragement to the poorest of the poor. The leadership of HOPE is passionate about their work in providing opportunities for people all over the world to use their talents and abilities to support themselves and their families while restoring dignity and respect in their life and in their communities. My summer there was a life changing ...
