This exposure at this internship was amazing. My supervisor had confidence and trust in my abilities and gave me a lot of control over my own projects. You definitely need to be self-motivated and to think proactively, but if you're looking for more responsibility than what you'd get at a larger organization - I highly recommend Merit. The marketing/communications department is a great team to work with. They were eager to teach me and answer all my questions. Left with great pieces for my portfolio and a better understanding of organizational diplomacy.
