As a hockey fan, this was a dream internship for me! I strongly recommend TBL for anyone interested in pursuing a career in sports marketing/pr. This position affirmed my interest in pr! I was given responsibilities including compiling the statistics section of the media guide, overseeing hockey camp, managing game stats for the prospect camp and helping the mascot with stunts. The environment is fun--after finishing daily responsibilities we played office hockey with other interns. The pr guys are fabulous--if you have a chance to work with them, take advantage of it (even if you are in a different department). ...
