Though my assignments were pretty locally interesting (meaning folk concerts and laughter seminars), I had the opportunity to accumulate a lot of clips. By the end of the summer, I felt really comfortable writing and interviewing for any type of story.
There was a lot of inconvenient commuting from the Back Bay of Boston to West Roxbury and Needham.
