My first day at G.S. Schwartz had me pitching almost as soon as I sat down at my desk. It has been a wonderful experience, full of many opportunities to see what goes on at an agency. I liked that everyone at the office treated me as a professional and I was not only researching for my clients but using my research to pitch and place clients in the media. I wanted to gain more experience in pitching, and this internship was full of it. It is extremely versatile in clients, and I constantly found myself entertained by new projects ...

My internship at G.S. Schwartz was a truly valuable experience. Working alongside Account Coordinators and Account Executives, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, for clients in many different industries. Some of the tasks I’ve completed at the agency included event planning for Toy Fair 2010 (trade show), attending agency brainstorming sessions, conducting industry research, interacting with members of the media, preparing client press kits, and client monthly reports. I’ve added a lot of work to my résumé and portfolio with my internship at this firm. The entire staff is very nice and welcoming. I would ...

G.S. Schwartz is a great company to intern at if you are first getting into PR. All the employees are very friendly and willing to teach you the ropes. I gained some great real-world experience in public relations. I sent out a lot of pitches, created media lists, and conducted social media research. I would have liked to opportunity to write a little, but all-in-all it was a positive experience.

G.S.Schwartz is definitely a great place to get your foot in the door with real world public relations agency experience, and Carl Hymans is one of the nicest internship managers you can ever meet.
