MTV is a great place to work! Everyone is friendly and there is no dress code! You really do get what you put into it! You have the opportunity to network with so many people and experience great opportunities! I would highly suggest this internship, although not getting paid stinks!

The atmosphere is really relaxed and chill. Interns are treated as equals. MTV really does like to milk whatever they can out of the free labor they get with their interns. Most of the interns on my floor (from 3 different departments) rarely had any work to do most of the time. It sounds a lot more glamorous than it is, but it still is a pretty cool place to intern.

Obviously the internship depends on your department but for the most part I hear nothing but great things from the other departments. I strongly encourage people to take this internship but know that it is truly up to you to create connections with the people around you.
