Horrible. I come in and ask what needs to be done or what I can do to help, then it take about two hours for someone to have some work for me. I legit sit there and do nothing for those two hours. I ask everyone in every department what they need.
They don't seem to recognize interns as actually help, and find it easier to just do things themselves rather than actually teach an intern to do it.
Not happy here.

I really enjoyed my internship. This internship was a real you get out what you put in. I was generally interested in the stories we covered and actively wanted WBZ's newscasts to be great!

WBZ is a place of real journalism, not like some other stations in the Boston market. If you are serious about being a solid reporter or anchor, or want to work behind the scenes, BZ can really make that happen for you.

The office environment was very tense because they had laid off dozens of staff members. People were too distracted about covering other people's work load that I mostly sat on the side lines. My boss would get very easily frustrated when I wouldn't know where to deliver messages to, or where certain offices were, or how to use all of the programs they had. I never felt comfortable there.
