I worked on the consumer team at SA but I was able to work with all of the other teams at one point or another which helped me learn even more. All of the employees offer their help and want to get to know you. They have high expectations for precision but they encourage you with a smile. I worked closely with my supervisor by creating media lists, creative mailers, news clips, helping with our client's event over the summer and many brainstorming sessions. We had four helpful intern workshops, like an info session about social ...

I interned on the corporate team full-time, and it was a blast. I worked very closely with my supervisor, and he guided me through all types of tasks that I was interested in, from writing press releases to pitching to reporters. I felt very comfortable approaching anyone in the office, even other co-workers who were on a different team, whether I had a question about a client or just wanted to share a funny story. I met numerous times throughout the summer with the internship coordinators and my supervisor to check-in and make sure I was enjoying my time. From ...

My experience at Schneider Associates offered me the opportunity to fully engage in a marketing communications and public relations firm. From the first day, I was pleased to be assigned real projects that directly involved me in client accounts.

As a corporate intern, I learned the basics as well as the nuances that distinguish desirable PR from ineffective PR. From drafting press releases to compiling research for media kits and messaging guides, I have acquired a firm foundation of knowledge upon which I can build a successful career.

I truly appreciated my time at Schneider and have ...

SA is a boutique PR firm with great reputation. They have a variety of loyal clients and witnessing the way they do business explains why. Excellence, attention to detail and serving the client's needs are of utmost importance. During my 4 months, I really felt part of the team. Besides the usual research work, news summary and media lists, I had an opportunity to write and distribute press releases, contact journalists and actually experienced the thrill of getting clips published. Both the junior and senior level employees were very supportive and helpful and always ready to answer questions. Caution: they ...

Schneider is a PR firm with a great name and a great track record. But, that in itself is a feat of public relations. In reality, I believe it's a firm facing a midlife crisis. It appears as though the focus has shifted from adept PR to squeezing money out of their clients. Meetings were often less concerned with effective methods and more focused on ways to incrementally add on to client's billing. The atmosphere is as friendly as a crypt. Upper level employees are extremely egotistical and barely approachable, unless you treated them with intense reverence. ...
