I really love the environment in the office and the office itself. It is pretty casual and everyone is really friendly, but it is also obvious that everyone is there to make Sirius XM the best it can be. My job was not very glamorous because I worked under the web analytics manager, but I enjoyed it and I definitely learned a lot about the company. I also had the other interns and other tasks to keep me entertained when necessary. The only problem is of course I wish it was paid, but I still get a credit and a ...

Literally the best internship at SIRIUS XM. I went into totally freaked out. Don't worry if it's about an old guy. You get to do equal amounts of work of everyone else. You will never have this chance again.

Good introduction to corporate finance. Essentially cut off from music business / radio programming that everyone seems to love so much. Still nice to be in the same building as that. Learned more about excel than I thought possible. Worked on analyzing monthly budget variances and helping with Q1 reforecast. Read through a variety of contracts to assist with finance department approval. Often left with not a lot to do, which was kind of good in that it helped keep my grades up. Other interns were pretty cool. SIRIUS XM Cafe is the best place to eat ever.

Was greatly dissapointed as I spent 11,000 to do grunt work there with nothing to show for it. Was treated by some people as a slave and not taken seriously, although I have 11 years experience in radio. It was "intern go get me a diet soda!", and "maybe some day you can do this too, even though I have more experinence than person telling me that.
I deeply regret doing it.
